The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released its proposed 2010 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, which includes dramatic reductions in payments for cardiovascular services. However, the basis for these cuts is flawed in credibility and does not address the valid issues that demand health care reform.
